Matinee!!

Tonight is Matinee at the newly renovated Fox Theater in downtown Pomona (near the Glasshouse). From the video from last time it seems nuts! I really wanna go tonight so well see what happens. One of tonight's special guests is Destructo (the man behind the amazing HARD events).

I'll most likely be out in the area promoting for HARD. You know all those flyers you get in your car after a club? Well finally I'll be the guy doing that! hahah lameee I know but I gotta put in work.

Artist Feature Friday: Dan Oh

Im lovin every track Ive been hearing from him so im pretty excited for his future work. Dan Oh has been a resident at Cinespace for Dim Mak Tuesdays for a while now but with his position on the HARD Summer lineup its clear that he has much bigger things in store for the future. Catch him at HARD on Aug. 8!!! Yeah Yeah Yeahs remixes have become so common nowadays but this one definitely stands out among others and even hold up to the MSTRKRFT remix in my opinion.

Electro Revolution!

Its Friday! I just got done playing my new Red Alert 3 game that just came in and now I'm contemplating picking up a shift tonight but I know I don't want to. It all depends on what's happening tonight I guess. ANYWAYS! Tonight is Electro Revolution "Thank You Massive!". The first electro revolution was held at the Fun Castle Events Center in El Monte. Pretty much, it was a pretty cool setup in a wherehouse with a really good lineup including Hyphy Crunk, Blake Miller (of Moving Units & Wierd Science), and Designer Drugs plus other local DJs. The only problem I had with it was that it was all ages and there was a bunch of really young looking kids all fucked up on E. But hey, what can you do? Tonight's event will be held at El Club in Hunington Park and is all ages ($15 @ the door, $10 before 9 with rsvp from going.com). Check out the video below for clips from the first Electro Revolution. (I have to say that Crazy Chris did a very good job of piecing together an older looking crowd for the video)

Another mask duo!!!

We've all heard of The Bloody Beetroots, Daft Punk, and MSTRKRFT. All pretty popular DJ/production duos that all happen to have signature masks they wear (mstrkrft not so much wearing them anymore however). Then you have other groups that aren't as popular such as Cyberpunks. I must admit, I was thinking to myself "what kind of masks are left to wear?" I was thinking Stormtroopers or Power Rangers but Cyberpunks apparantly said fuck it and went with a paintball mask. Haha not too sure how I feel about it honestly. However!!! They sure do know how to make a bangin ass tracks. So here's a sample of what this group from Italy (crookers & bloody beetroots homeland as well) is bringing to the table.

Here we go again...

Now that I'm bored and sitting here at home doing nothing but look for music all day long and hanging out with people aside from the 2 days a week I work, I can start blogging again. Yay! Too bad nobody ever reads these blogs but I'll try to make a bit interesting for people so its actually worth reading. Not to mention, I'll be posting songs and vids up here too + any new info I get thats worth knowing.

FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS:
